Sidereal Astrology and Me

Life is full of ~What The Fuck~ moments..

I love the way that astrology reinforces my belief that life is insane and magical. The magic can be felt in our connections with others, the magic is love. The insanity is that we are capable of relating to each other even as we are each so different and unique.

We have all experienced some ridiculous event followed by finding out its a full moon or mercury retrograde or eclipse. 

Recognizing a esoteric cause for distress brings me relief because it reminds me of the transient nature of the distress. This too shall pass, as they say. Astrology offers a distinct timeline of when something is occurring, how it grew from the past, and when it might come up again.  I believe the predictive quality of astrology can be used to help navigate relationships, predict and prepare for medical changes and so much more. That being said, I am not qualified by age or ability offer guidance to others with the use of chart reading. All I am capable of at this point is an openness to get to know anyone on a very deep level. An astrology reading from me will involve many questions and active listening. We will have to wait until at least 2027 for any serious personal predictions or other forms of help from me.

In the meantime I’ll explain why I use the sidereal astrological calculation. I started studying in 2020, when the difference between sidereal and the mainstream tropical astrology was clearly demonstrated to me. Because of the 29 degree difference between the 2, a stelium including Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars was either in tropical Sagittarius or sidereal Capricorn. The first sign is generally about belief systems and convictions. The other is about our limits in life and the self control that is harnessed when faced with restrictions. There certainly was and still are strong convictions surrounding the Covid-19 virus. However in April 2020, when this stellium took place, americans were dealing with unprecedented restrictions.

Astrology is typically understood and sold through personal horoscopes instead of major event forecasting. The best astrologers can do both, but capitalism incentives single serving weekly outlooks for a fee. The average horoscope neglects the fact that we are all uniquely shaped by world history, as well as our personal history of past experiences in relationships. The first relationships we encounter are the ones with our families.
